Good news, bad news.
Bad news is Joel and I learned an important blogging lesson the hard way this past week. Good news is you’ll get to hear all about it and learn what-not-to-do-although-you-probably-already-knew-not-to-do-it-because-you-are-smart-and-savvy-unlike-us *breathe* when we talk about it during our presentation at the Catholic New Media Conference (CNMC).
The most ambitious CNMC yet, this year’s agenda includes three full days of events such as the CNMC Tech Summit for Catholic web designers, app developers, and programmers and the International Catholic Bloggers’ Summit. The bloggers’ summit will focus on the ever-growing and important world of blogging, and Joel and I are excited to present Starting a Blog Without a Clue: 10 Basic Things We Learned in the First 2 Years. We will candidly share what has worked well and what has simply … tanked (including the highly cryptic aforementioned teachable moment).
Still Time to Register!
Registration for the conference is still open. If you are even remotely considering attending but are still on the fence, go find someone who’ll push you off. We attended the 2010 CNMC last year (read our review here), and it was worth every penny spent and hour traveled. Bonus: this year the CNMC is being held in conjunction with the Catholic Marketing Network conference and the Catholic Writers Guild annual meeting. This means attendees will have the opportunity to attend presentations by Jeff Cavins, Peter Kreeft, Imaculee Ilibagiza, and Collin Raye.
Now, if you simply cannot attend this year, keep reading.
Get Your Virtual Ticket!
For the first time in CNMC history, the Conference is offering a Virtual Ticket. This is a terrific way to access the audio recordings of all conference sessions, about 25 hours of content. Plus, exclusive interviews will be recorded during the conference and will be included with the download. The price of the Virtual Ticket is $120 and can be purchased through the regular CNMC registration process here.
