Those who often hang around here might recall the story about the spiritual board of directors I developed on my 36th birthday to guide and support me throughout this year of life. The twist? All board members are saints. And one of the saints who occupies a seat on my board is Josemaria Escriva.
The St. Josemaria Institute got word that I’m keeping their guy a little busy this year and thought the story might make for a good interview. So they tossed me some thought-provoking questions and indeed, if I may be so bold, it is a good interview.
Interested in reading a little more about the significance of saints and how to achieve communion with them in our daily lives? Then click here and head over to the St. Josemaria Institute to read Part I of my interview. Part II focuses on social media/blogging and will run in December.Â
The full interview of “The Saints — Our Guides through Everyday Life” is available here.
Beautiful interview! I love your line about “holiness is found here, too.” (Like when I made two meat pies and forgot to put them in the refrigerator, only to find them still sitting out, inedible, the next morning!)
You should feel free to connect in “real time” with some of us around the web when you need support, too. Hugs.
