I’m cheating. Today’s Wordless Wednesday needs a few captions to advance the story. Really, though, anything under 250-words probably qualifies as wordless for us windbags, no?

January 30, 2012, a memorable day for Das Schmidt Haus, the day Jude & I came home from the hospital!

It was 64-degrees. Average Des Moines January high? 29-degrees.

    He’s such a handsome little guy! :)
Enjoy your wintery weather. It seems that when the Midwest gets a shock of winter weather, it makes the weather in Arizona warmer. When you’re mild, we’re ‘cold’ (for here) – and have similar highs/lows. Isn’t that strange?

Thank you! A lot of folks use that same word to describe Jude — handsome. Guess it must be true, huh? :)

That is strange about the AZ/IA weather patterns. I still think the cold cold is more bearable than the hot hot, but I’m sure you find ways to cope and adjust (more deodorant being one!).
