Catholic convert and apologist Devin Rose discusses his new book “The Protestant’s Dilemma”.
A few years ago, Lisa and I went to our first Catholic conference, the 2011 Catholic New Media Celebration in Kansas City. It was a tremendous experience, largely because of the people we met. One of those people was Devin Rose.
During the conference, a number of us went out to dinner together one evening. Purely by chance, Devin and I ended up sitting next to each other. Upon discovering that we were both converts, we shared our conversion stories and generally chatted each other’s ears off. Please note, Devin’s story is way better than mine. I doubt Marcus Grodi will be inviting me on The Journey Home anytime soon.
What really floored me about Devin was not just that he had written an apologetics book, which he published himself. It was that his little self-published book had caught the attention of Catholic Answers who was interested in editing and re-publishing it. Now, after nearly three years in (re)development, The Protestant’s Dilemma is finally available. We invited Devin to Take 5 to discuss his journey from atheist to Catholic author and how the book came out of that. Enjoy the interview and then go out and pick up a copy of the book!
