1. I love Lino! What an exciting opportunity! I think you’d be so great with a show to talk about the faith. Catholic Channel or even just testing the waters with a podcast. Praying you find the path meant for you!

  2. Welcome to FMF! It is a wonderful community. I pray you find the things that not only fill your tank but make the FAther smile as He watches you doing what He designed you to do. Blessings on your journey! :)

  3. When you consult your spiritual board of directors on your next move, St. Josemaria might have some wise words for you in his little book of homilies called Friends of God. I especially like the last one entitled “Towards Holiness”. Pat often directs me to various points in The Furrow, another of St. Josemaria´s works. Point 495 is one that I´ve prayed with often. St. Josemaria doesn´t mince words!! No hard/fast answers, but these suggestions might provide good counsel from your board member.

  4. Lisa, I love the idea of a “Five-Minute Friday.” I need to adopt that over at my blog so that I’m forced to write. I haven’t had a chance to listen to the radio show yet, but I *completely* get what you’re saying. I love this job we have at home, but I’ve felt that same tug. I still have no idea what my tug is, but blogging has been a fun way to connect with other women like you on similar journeys. I’m with Sarah. You are radiating happiness in these pictures. Our little lunch date last year is all the proof I need to know that you would be a font of wisdom and a source of blessing for many in whatever way God is calling you to use your gifts. Keep praying about it, keep praying with Joel about it, and stay close to the Blessed Mother. I look forward to seeing what this year has in store for your family!

    • Thank you for your continued support and prayers, Catherine! I’m so grateful to the Holy Spirit for putting us on each other’s path. You are a diamond among gems, my friend!

  5. How do you get in on the “topics” for each week? I would love to get in on that! :)

I will be praying for your discernment. You have so many gifts to share with the world, Lisa!

  6. I LOVE this because I GET IT.
I think we are given gifts…and public speaking is absolutely a gift…and when you have a gift that enables you to get out and spread the Good News…well then WOW!!! That is awesome! I say go for it in a huge way and let God use you to reach the world…your voice to speak His words….and in return, you not only fill yourself, but every heart that hears you.

  7. Just catching up on past episodes of The Catholic Guy show. Lisa has a fabulous voice for singing and radio! Didn´t get to hear Joel´s singing voice but he´s got a great radio voice! You 2 are so “cute” and you have a beautiful family. Would love to be able to hear the Schmidt´s on the Catholic Channel one day.
